We describe a rare case of a 29-year-old immunocompetent Nigerian male affected by an abdominal abscess due to Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection. Diagnosis was achieved with cultures from surgical drainage. No pulmonary, renal, or gastrointestinal involvement was identified.
